The adobo LIA Young Creatives Cover Contest
adobo is looking for two young Creatives to be the adobo Creative LIAsons. Get the odds in your favor and maybe, just maybe, you may wake up in Vegas to attend the judging of the London International Awards and be part of the Creative LIAsons Conversation Program.
Submit an artwork for an upcoming project by adobo magazine, whose audience will be university students.
Full cover art must measure 6.5 x 7.25 inches (full bleed), must be original work and/or does not infringe on copyright. Final work must be photographed or scanned (in high resolution JPEG format) for submission via email. Please refer to the template provided.
Each entry must have a document bearing the artist’s name (as it appears on the passport), and agency name/affiliation. It must also have the artist’s guarantee or attestation that it is a certified original.
Finished work must be accompanied by a statement from the artist, said statement being no more than 400 words and no less than 150 words.
There is no limitation to the number of entries (per candidate) submitted for this contest.
NOTE: Winners will be notified via email and announced on the adobo magazine website soon after the jury deliberation to give them ample time to prepare for the LIA. In the event a winner/entry is disqualified, adobo magazine reserves the right to select another winner from the selected finalists.
Awarding creativity and the power of ideas, the LIA (formerly known as the London International Advertising Awards) annually celebrates with the convergence of the best and brightest in the industry. Launching the Creative LIAsons program (formerly known as “Creative Conversations”) in 2012, this fully-funded educational initiative by LIA helps young creatives find the next stepping stone in their career. It’s a rare chance to meet gurus like Amir Kassei or Matt Eastwood, and learn in the playful and unorthordox environment of Las Vegas.
It’s the adobo magazine campus edition which will specifically be published for the college crowd which mirrors their interests and concerns. It will have a decidedly younger vibe but its focus will remain to be on creativity in the areas of communication, marketing and advertising. It will stay true to the adobo brand but it will give the college students a voice and will focus on school campuses instead of the corporate arena.
