The noodle brand, ‘Lucky Me,’ returns once again with a new ad campaign, reuniting once love team, John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. It aims to promote Lucky Me’s transition back to its old pancit canton formula as well as celebrating a nostalgic twist to the reconciliation of two former on-screen partners.

The short starts with John Lloyd, sitting alone in a café, and holding a glass of milk and a plate of classic Lucky Me pancit canton, as he is surrounded by couples of different ages. Bea walks in, shocking him at first, but nevertheless, welcomes her with a warm smile. The video continues with Bea talking about how much they miss each other and eventually teasing a kiss that leads to their old comedic hi-jinks.

It’s a classic rom-com situation starring a classic Filipino on screen couple that’s promoting a classic, simple dish that ties us Filipinos together.
