PHILIPPINES, APRIL 2011 – Order a serving of family fun, with a side of laughs on Jack TV this May as it dishes up a new animated sitcom. Bob’s Burgers follows a third-generation restaurateur named Bob (H. Jon Benjamin), as he runs his family’s burger joint named Bob’s Burgers. With the help of his wife and their three kids, Bob has big dreams for his business and the burgers he serves. Even with his slimy counters, awful location and not so good service, Bob is convinced his burgers are enough to keep him and his family happy.
Supporting Bob’s dreams is his wife Linda (John Roberts), an avid musical theater fan who helps out by grinding meat for the burgers. Their eldest daughter Tina (Dan Mintz) is a 13-year-old socially awkward hopeless romantic. Middle child Gene (Eugene Mirman) is an aspiring musician and a prankster. Youngest daughter Louise (Kristen Schaal) is the most enthusiastic about the restaurant, but her weird sense of humor normally means her schemes do not go to plan.
Right next door to Bob’s Burgers is “It’s Your Funeral Home and Crematorium.” An un-ideal neighbor for a restaurant, the rumor that the burgers contain human meat does not help business at all. Right across the street is Jimmy Pesto’s Pizzeria, Bob’s biggest competition.
