Hermie’s appointment is part of the expansion plan of Havas Media in the Philippines. Last January, Collab Manila joined the group via its partnership with Media Contacts," said Mapa.

Barry Cupples, CEO of OMG Asia Pacific is optimistic that the agency will move forward despite the loss. “Hermie has been a fabulous colleague and awesome in her role leading our brands. They will all be stepping in to fill any void left by her departure," said Cupples.

Recently, Havas Media has showed its interest in the Philippines as Havas Digital acquired local mobile company Snapworx and rebranded it as Mobext.
