MANILA, AUGUST 7, 2013- The lifestyle hub in Pasay City, Resorts World Manila calls for entries for the second year of Pinoy Ultimate Jeepney with the theme “Celebrating Philippine Icons”.
This August, the Pinoy Ultimate Jeepney(PUJ) art contest continues to highlight the Philippine jeepneys through restoration efforts to enliven jeepneys in Pasay City en route to Nichols Ikot.
The competition is open to all and the submission of concept board entries is until September 30. The design templates should be interpreted in colored pencils. The criteria for judging are 30% for Originality, 30% for Cultural Authenticity, 20% for Aesthetic Quality, and 20% for the Functionality of the Design.
The 13 shortlisted designs will be announced on October 3, 2013 with 60,000php awarded seed money for the full-scale painting and modification. The final announcement of the winning PUJ entry will be on December 20 via Resorts World Manila website. The winning finalist will take home 100,000php grand prize. All of the entries of PUJ will be presented in an exhibit at Resorts World Manila from November22, 2013 to January 1, 2014.
