Mindshare Singapore promotes APAC digital head Nick Seckoldto CEO; Leela Nair set to depart

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, AUGUST 21, 2013 — Mindshare has promoted Asia-Pacific digital headNick Seckoldtochief executive officer of its Singapore office, replacing Leela Nair, who is leaving the group for personal reasons.

Singapore-based, Seckold spent three years developing Mindshare’s digital capabilities across the region. He has also worked at the UK office for four years, where he helped establish Mindshare UK’s reputation as a market leader before moving to Singapore in 2010.

Seckold brings over 16 years of media experience to the role and has worked on various brands including Unilever, Ford, HSBC, Nestlé, Nike and O2.

Commenting on his new role, Seckold said: “We have a really strong team in Singapore and I am excited about the opportunity to lead our office into the next phase of our development. I am really looking forward to applying what I’ve learned over the last decade or so to the super-charged digital culture of Singapore.”

Seckold takes over from Nair, who has been Mindshare Singapore’s managing director for over two years.
