SINGAPORE – IPG Mediabrands the global media arm of Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), has today announced UM’s appointment as AOR for SingEx, one of Asia’s leading MICE providers. The appointment is announced following the conclusion of a competitive review which involved four other media agencies.

Singapore Managing Director David Haddad commented, “We have been working with SingEx over the last year and are thrilled to expand and extend that relationship into the future.”

Haddad continues, “Everybody at UM is very excited to build on the great partnership and momentum they have already established with the SingEx marketing team. With a growing emphasis on the digital transformation of their business and communications, SingEx are committed to delivering a personalised, connected and consumer centric brand experience for their customers. This is a natural alignment for UM’s mission to strive for better science and better art to deliver better outcomes.”

Ian Fong, Director Marketing & Communications SingEx commented “During the tender review process, we were looking for a partner that understood our ambition for media and digital transformation. UM was selected based on its existing and proven history of media planning and buying expertise, and their ability to strategically assess and deliver a plan that will aid our transformation requirements moving forward.”

Fong continues, “SingEx operates in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving category, where technology and data are playing a much larger role in attracting customers and providing them with a unique and seamless experience. We’re confident in UM’s ability to be true business partners with us and are very pleased to have them on board as we all move forward into new and exciting times ahead.”
