Carol Tay appointed as Country Director, SEA, overseeing Amobee DSP and Unruly SSP

SINGAPORE — Leading advertising platform Amobee has announced the appointment of Carol Tay as the new Country Director for Southeast Asia (SEA), overseeing the business across the Amobee DSP and the Unruly SSP. Carol joins the business from Yahoo, where she most recently held the position of Senior Director, Head of Sales, Southeast Asia.

In her newly created role, Carol will be responsible for accelerating the growth and success of Amobee and Unruly’s advertiser, agency, and media company clients across the SEA region, including overseeing all commercial operations, client partnerships, and product development and strategy.

Carol brings over fifteen years of extensive strategic, operational, and leadership experience in the advertising and media industry, having worked with leading agencies and brands across SEA, including Publicis, denstu, OMG, Qoo10, and Citigroup, during her time with Yahoo.

Managing Director APAC for Amobee and Unruly Josif Zanich expressed confidence in Carol’s ability to leverage data and brand insights to explore growth opportunities in the rapidly scaling OTT and Connected TV (CTV) landscape. Carol’s extensive network within the media industry and leadership skills position her to drive the next phase of growth for Amobee-Unruly in the region.
