Jan Cho elevated to Managing Director of TBWA\Hong Kong

HONG KONG — With immediate effect, Jan Cho has been named managing director TBWA\Hong Kong, from his previous role as general manager of the same agency. Jan will continue to head Digital Arts Network\Hong Kong, in addition to his role as managing director.

Jan leads some of the country’s largest integrated accounts and has been instrumental in building and leading one of Hong Kong’s most respected integrated digital creative agencies. And despite operating in a challenging marketing environment, the agency met its ambitious growth target for 2017 and further deepened the digital IQ and capabilities of the agency.

Under Jan’s leadership TBWA\Hong Kong wrapped up an impressive year and was
recognised and rewarded for its performance by the industry when named Hong Kong’s Digital Agency of the Year - Gold; Greater China Integrated Agency of the Year – Silver; and Hong Kong’s Creative Agency of the Year – Silver.

Jan joined TBWA\TEQUILA in 2003 where he found his talent in developing integrated programs working predominantly on Heineken’s brand marketing and strategy as well as event and channel activations.

During the time Jan has been with TBWA, the marketing landscape has evolved
significantly from traditional brand activities to interactive and with it, Jan has continued to drive brand leadership and ensure TBWA’s clients are at the forefront of digital marketing.

Jan was born and schooled in Hong Kong starting out as a mad scientist with a degree in Pure Physics from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Taking off his lab coat, he began his agency career at Foote Cone & Belding in 2001, before moving to join TBWA\TEQUILA Hong Kong in 2003.
