She is the only judge from the Philippines chosen to judge the AD STARS 2018 Awards slated to take place on August 25, 2018, in Busan, Korea.

In addition to being a final judge, Joey is also chosen as The New Stars program jury president. The New Stars program is open to anyone with less than three years’ industry experience, or who is aged below 30.

Joey joined NuWorks in 2017, where she’s leading the young and agile creative team of the country’s leading independent digital innovations agency and overseeing creative vision and direction for NuWorks Interactive Labs’ diverse set of blue chip clientele, including Unilever and Nestle.

A writer, an art director, and web designer, Joey puts all these skills to use in pursuing her advocacies such as the award-winning MANIKAKO (My Doll) — a non-profit organization that teaches creativity and environmental responsibility to children. The social experiment, Correcting History, for CARMMA (Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang) gained global spotlight, earning a Gold Clio, Grande Lotus, Ad Stars Grand Prix and other prestigious awards.
