For more than five decades, entries from radio stations, networks and independent producers spanning over 30 countries have been submitted to the New York Festivals Radio Programming and Promotions Awards and judged by an international panel of industry experts.
Forty entries from the USA, 24 from Canada and 21 from England top the list of 2009 finalists. Leading the pack for Asia and the Pacific, Australia has 13 finalists, India has five, while New Zealand and Hong Kong have 3 and 2, respectively.
