AME Festival 2010 Kicks Off in Shanghai

The Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival starts 24-25 March 2010 in Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai. Celebrated futurist and author Martin Lindstrom, one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2009, is the keynote speaker and he’ll be talking about “The Buyology of an Amazing Idea”.

Attendees will be treated to two days of talks from leading Chinese and global industry and marketing experts. Speakers include Fernando Baretta, EVP of Grey Group Asia Pacific, Christopher Graves – Global CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, and Keith Smith – President of TBWA Worldwide, along with a host of top executives from leading Asian agencies

To cap off the festival, the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards 2010 winners will be awarded on March 25. The Awards honours clients and agencies for the best marketing strategies that transforms businesses and brands.

McCann Erickson Philippines is shortlisted for the Coca Cola Open Happiness campaign in the “Best integrated marketing campaign” category.
 
In last year’s AME festival, Universal McCann Philippines won a bronze for Johnson and Johnson’s Botelya – Love in a Bottle campaign in the “Most effective use of branded content” category.
 
Ogilvy & Mather, Lowe Asia, BBDO and JWT were this year’s top-nominated networks, appearing on the shortlist 30, 12, 11 and 8 times, respectively. Leading the pack of nominees for the annual festival are campaigns led out of Southeast Asia and India.
