adobo magazine, June 21, 2017 | 3:45pm

MANILA - Aspac-DAN’s #1stWorldInternetPH campaign for Globe bested all others in the Asia Pacific Excellence Awards for PR held in Hong Kong last April. The Dentsu Aegis Network agency beat campaigns throughout Asia and Australia for the Telecommunications PR category effectively handing Globe and Aspac-DAN a win in the international PR arena.

The “1st World Internet PH” campaign addressed the local government red tape issue that was greatly delaying the roll out of nationwide telco infrastructure, that millions of Filipinos are demanding. The public was largely unaware of the red tape issue so the campaign took the behind-closed-doors issue public and simultaneously turned a problem into an opportunity for local governments to display vision and leadership.

The agency team behind Globe’s 1st World Internet Campaign PH is composed of Aspac-DAN Creative Director Gio Gatchalian, Senior Creatives Jemark De La Cruz, Jennifer Domingo and Account Director Karen Pareno who have won previous awards for Globe.

Aspac-DAN is headed by Chairman Miguel Ramos, CEO Susan Dimacali, COO Angel Antonio, and Chief Creative Officer Joey Ong.
