A celebration of culture and connection: RMN, your hyper-local partner in Sinulog

CEBU, PHILIPPINES — The Sinulog Festival, held annually in Cebu City, Philippines, is a vibrant and colorful celebration that honors Santo Niño, the Holy Child Jesus. This lively event attracts millions of locals and tourists alike, who come together to revel in the festivities, dance to the rhythmic beat of drums, and pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines.

Last year, Unilab, a trusted quality healthcare provider, entered into a partnership with the city’s local government unit (LGU), to promote Rexidol, a key product of Unilab, amplified through the RMN Fiesta Tour. Specifically customized for Unilab, the RMN Fiesta Tour is a two-day branded on-ground activation conducted during the celebration of the Sinulog Festival in Cebu City through a customized booth, tents, and activities carried out by iFM Cebu, DYHP, and experts accustomed to the fiesta traditions and culture of the brand’s intended audience.

Ensuring safety as the official first-aid partner

On top of the Fiesta Tour booth, Rexidol and RMN also served as the official first-aid partners of the event by providing 30 first-aid tents scattered across (SRP) South Road Properties. A total of 800 visitors visited the tent, and a total of 1,300 attendees received product samples.

Halad sa Sinulog brings local talents in one event

The “Halad sa Sinulog Dance Contest 2023” is a customized branded event under the 360X On-Ground media products, which was organized by IPI and RMN. Hundreds of Cebuanos were entertained during the event by various dance groups from various barangay in the province and by local artists from iFM Cebu and DYHP RMN Cebu.

A 360x hyperlocal experience at sinulog

Developed to create the new radio plan that is no longer just amplified by on-air broadcast, RMN Marketing and Media Ventures developed a 360X plan to amplify both IPI and Rexidol and its brand message. Utilizing the RMN360X products, On-Air served its purpose for brand recall by announcing the schedule of the activation with online amplification support under the Brandvoice social media platform of RMN-MMV amplified in iFM Cebu and DYHP RMN Cebu social media pages. The idol DJs of iFM Cebu helped organize the activation, injecting their usual energy and enthusiasm. The campaign was concluded with post-event highlights summarizing both activations.

459th Fiesta Señor Santo Niño: Magnet of Love in the Synodal Church

With the preparations for the 459th Sinulog underway, RMN Networks is also gearing up on its coverage, making sure it gives the best 360Xperience to its brand partners. Next year’s Sinulog Grand Parade is scheduled for January 21.
