BBDO Guerrero among Warc’s top 20 creative agencies

MANILA – BBDO Guerrero made it to Warc’s ranking of creative agencies in the world, taking the final spot in the top 20.

The only Philippine agency in the top 20, BBDO Guerrero scored a total of 61 points.

The top agency, Colenso BBDO, scored 115.2 points.

The rankings are based on the Warc 100 database, which tracks winners of effectiveness and strategy awards from around the world each year. 

To compile the rankings, Warc tracked more than 1700 winners in 75 different competitions, assigning points based on the awards won (for example, Gold, Silver or Bronze), then weighting those points based on the competition’s rigour and prestige in the global industry.

“Being ranked so highly on a global scale is an achievement we are obviously hugely proud of especially when we consider our comparative size and the competition we have been seen to beat,” BBDO Guerrero chief executive Tony Harris said. “It is a great reflection on not only ourselves but the industry here and what it is capable of.”

In July, BBDO Guerrero’s ‘It’s More Fun in the Philippines’ for the Philippines Department of Tourism ranked third in the Warc 100 top campaigns.
