Campaign Spotlight: Feel the force of your emotions with Globe Telecom and PJB's new Star Wars TVC

MANILA – The highly anticipated screening of The Force Awakens, the newest instalment from the blockbuster franchise, Star Wars is just days away. To build up the fans’ excitement, Globe Telecom and Publicis JimenezBasic (PJB) released a TV spot that with a force to be reckon with–the force of your emotions.

Featuring two die-hard Star Wars fans–a dad who lived through the Episode IV, V, VI and his daughter, who belongs to the new generation of the franchise’s fans, the spot takes us through their journey from the daughter’s childhood, her adolescence and up until today.

In the end, Globe Telecom shows how a telco helped bind the father and the daughter to seamlessly enjoy their favorite movie as they both grow old and grow up together.

In a press release sent to adobo, Brandie Tan, ECD of PJB said, “It is precisely this deep-seated nostalgia that Globe together with Publicis Jimenez Basic wanted to capture.  The collaboration between the Telco giant and Publicis Jimenez Basic was tireless in its vision to create a spot that was worthy of the franchise it was representing.”

This spot will surely take you back to your own Star Wars memories with your dad (or your mom!). Before watching, be sure you have your Darth Vader mask nearby because this will surely make you tear up.
