IXM wins Motortrade account

MANILA - IdeasXMachina has picked up the advertising account for Motortrade, a leading motorcycle dealer handling brands like Honda, Kawasaki, Kymco, Suzuki, Yamaha, and PMR.

The agency won the business following a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies, which concluded in April 16. 

“Their pitch was swak na swak sa kailangan namin (a perfect fit for what we need),” said Motortrade Marketing and Business Director Jay Mendoza.

Mendoza said that it was unexpected that IdeasXMachina won, praising the agency’s diligence and thinking process to authentically understand Motortrade.

“They were the dark horse. I actually invited more prominent agencies. The bigger ones... I was thinking na saling pusa lang sila (that they were just an add-on), surprisingly they were prepared the most.”

“They even did their own FGD, had really good insights that were consistent with our UAI (Usage, Attitude and Image survey)... That was something they were able to do that other agencies couldn’t,” he adds.

IXM CEO Third Domingo spearheaded the campaign pitch alongside Strategist Jedd Ilagan, Group Accounts Director Kate Alconga, Account Director Arrow Mempin, Associate Creative Directors Jasper Ilagan and Vince Bud-oy, Senior Art Director Spiderdan Geromo, Junior Art Director 1 Manalo, and Junior Accounts Executive Fire Esplanada.

IXM has also confirmed the acquisition of the following accounts:  iColor and Thick Hair (Insignia) and The Persimmon Studios (AboitizLand).
