Lopez Museum hosts Trenta, 30 short films under 30 minutes

MANILA – Film enthusiasts can get their fill of short films at the Lopez Museum as it hosts Trenta, an afternoon screening of short films on November 27 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Trenta brings together shorts created by student film organizations, budding and the more established filmmakers. 

With each film running for 30 minutes or less, 30 shorts have been compiled for the showcase.

Aside from individual works by members of Tito and Tita collective (John Torres, Shireen Seno, Pam Miras, Miko Reveraza, Raya Martin, Gym Lumbera and Mikey Red),  student submissions will be shown along with shorts by Kevin Dayrit and Ralph Quijano. The lineup is further augmented by select entries from last year’s CineKasimanwa: The Western Visayas Film Festival. 

Admission is free of charge. Gourmet Farms Inc. will serve freshly brewed coffee at the museum’s temporary coffee shop, the Reading Lab, for the entire afternoon.

Museum hours are Mondays to Saturdays, except holidays, 8 a.m.  to 5 p.m. The Lopez Museum and Library is at the ground floor, Benpres Building, Exchange Road corner Meralco Avenue, Pasig City.
