MANILA, APRIL 23, 2013 – Manuel Pangilinan, First Pacific managing director and PLDT chairman, has announced that Noel Lorenzana has been named president and CEO of Mediaquest and its related affiliates and subsidiaries, including TV5.
Lorenzana, formerly head of the individual business for the PLDT Group, takes the place of Ray Espinosa, who was named Associate Director of First Pacific, as well as the Group’s Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs and Head of the Communications Bureau. Espinosa will retain his directorships within the Group, including those at PLDT, Meralco, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation and others, including at MediaQuest.
Pangilinan said, “Noel’s background in the telco space and in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) will be of immense advantage in his ability to bring the worlds of media and telecommunications closer… We extend to, and I assure, Noel our full confidence and unstinting support.”
