BBDO Guerrero’s FA artist and Pasok Mga Bwitre member, Jet Concepcion passed away last week, August 5. Jet’s bandmates have organized "Jet’s Great Gig in the Sky," a concert for the benefit of his remaining loved ones.
Saatchi’s Bogey Bernardo who plays drums for Bwitre, has this to say of their late bandmate: Jet was an F.A. artist, one of the best if not THE best I’ve ever worked with. Every second with him was just plain fun, man. You’d never see him down or depressed… NEVER. He loved 80’s music and would blast it through his sound system in the FA room (you’d hear it from the main entrance of BBDO, man no shit). He was a kind soul… Always laughing and never bitching. He was loved by all, no doubt. We were band mates from the very beginning of Bwitre so that’s about 2 years already I believe…
The benefit gig for Jet Concepcion will be held on Friday, August 14, 8pm at AdPhoto 4987 Enrique St., Palanan, Makati City. The Dawn, Chilitees and eight other bands will be performing. Tickets are available at Php 250, includes 2 bottles of beer. Click here for more details.
