Creativity and innovation are not a choice. In an age of widespread extinction and rapid evolution where entire professions and industries are being wiped out by new business models and technologies, it's disrupt or be disrupted. From heritage brands to startups, every business needs to get innovative and get creative. This is your guide to survival and success. Protect businesses. Mine talents. Affect corporate culture change. Before it's too late.
CANNES – Mobext Head for Asia-Pacific Arthur Policarpio has been named to the jury of the Mobile Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Mobext is the mobile division of Havas.
Policarpio is also the co-founder and CEO of Mobext Philippines, the regional centre of excellence of Mobext. With more than 13 years' experience in mobile marketing, he is a pioneer in the field and has worked on numerous award-winning mobile marketing campaigns for various top companies across the region.
MANILA – Mobile marketing has made further strides in the Philippines, with more marketers investing in the platform while marketer satisfaction over mobile ROI has improved.
The findings were revealed in the second Philippine Advertisers Attitudes Towards Mobile Marketing study conducted by Mobext, the mobile marketing agency brand of the Havas Media Group, and the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA).
The survey gathered responses from 87 mid-to-senior marketers, and was conducted from June to August of this year.
Among the findings:
MANILA – The McDonald’s Philippines mobile app has surpassed one million downloads, barely two months after its launch last September 12. The app, available for both Android and iOS, was designed and developed by specialist mobile agency Mobext.
“Reaching one million downloads is not just a feat for McDonald’s. It also speaks of the local market’s hunger for convenient mobile services, especially for food delivery,” says Arthur Policarpio, Head of Mobext Asia-Pacific.
At the core of the app is McDelivery, which brings the food chain’s delivery service to mobile.
PARIS – Mobext has a global head – Marco Rigon, who has been tasked with further developing Havas Group’s overall mobile marketing strategy for clients worldwide, based in Paris.
Rigon, 38, joins the specialist mobile label following six years as associate director at Phonevalley, Publicis Groupe's mobile marketing agency. He previously worked as business development director for Sharp Mobile in Southern Europe, and as a consultant supporting mobile operators such as Orange and Vodafone.
