Pitch your ideas and make it happen at Asia on the Edge 2012

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, JULY 18, 2012:  Asia on the Edge 2012 brings back "Pitch It!, an event that provides Asia’ entrepreneurs and practitioners of design, culture and media insudtries to pitch refreshing ideas for funding and further development. 
 
This event will allow participants in Asia who have avant-garde ideas to pitch to win SGD$10,000 and get the chance to be incubated by investors.
 
Call for pitches has already started and will end August 17. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to Singapore to present their pitch to a panel of angel investors, creative leaders and experienced entrepreneurs and practitioners in Asia. Pitch It! session is to be held on September 8 as one of the components of Generating Ideas – a creative conference that is part of a regional platform, Asia on the Edge (AOTE). AOTE serves to aggregate creative entrepreneurs and arts practitioners with the aim of incubating new ideas and trends from and of Asia and Asian origins.
 
Established in 2008, Asia On The Edge hopes to create an occasion for Asians to share experiences and visions in their own point of view and language(s) amongst each other and with the rest of the world with the aim of engendering a better understanding of Asia. In the following year, the initiative became a signature event of the Singapore grand Prix season focusing on fashion, design and craft.
