MPG China appointed as media AOR of Cigna & CMC Life Insurance

ASIA-PACIFIC – BEIJING, CHINA, SEPTEMBER 13, 2010 – Cigna & CMC Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (below “CIGNA & CMC”) a joint venture company established by CIGNA Corporation and China Merchants Group affiliate has appointed MPG China as its media AOR in the country.

MPG, the flagship brand of Havas Media, won the account after a competitive pitch. MPG China will provide the full scope of integrated media services including media planning and buying for the brand in China.

MPG China was awarded the business based on its extensive experience and passion for the direct marketing model and expertise in handling financial brands. On the win, Thomas Wong (pictured), CEO of MPG Greater China said: “Cigna & CMC has been a pioneer in the use of direct marketing methods to promote its insurance products and has had a great success in other markets.
