SINGAPORE – November 21, 2013 – BBDO Proximity Singapore won big at the 2013 Gong Creative Circle Awards, winning the Agency of the Year title and bringing home six Golds, eight Silvers, and 12 Bronzes across 10 categories.
The agency’s "Hawker Heroes" campaign for SingTel emerged as the most awarded campaign, winning a total of four Golds, four Silvers, and one Bronze, as well as Best of Promo & Activation, Best of Entertainment & Branded Content.
SingTel’s director of digital and social marketing Miguel Bernas was also named Creative Client of the Year.
Meanwhile, Kinetic Singapore kept its title as Independent Agency of the Year while winning another award for Design Agency of the Year. The agency also won the Best of Show award for its entry, "Uu 3D Custom Figurines." The agency also took home a total of seven Golds, 17 Silvers, and 12 Bronzes.
"I’m really happy that Gong CCA 2013 was a huge success, the number of entries were up, the attendance to the show was up, and the quality of the work was up several notches. Other winners include Lowe Singapore, which took home six Golds, 11 Silvers, and nine Bronzes. It’s campaign "SENSITIVE: 2. Gauntlet/ Missile" for Unilever’s Signal Sensitive Toothpaste also took home the Best of Print award, while it’s "SELF" campaign for the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) was awarded Best of Direct as well as Best of CSR.
DDB Group Singapore won Digital Agency of the Year, while Freeflow Productions won Production Company of the Year.
