The Digital and Ecommerce categories include content marketing, Ecommerce experience, integrated Ecommerce, online to offline, digital innovation and tech, social Ecommerce, integrated digital, social media, and search and performance.

Jury President for Digital categories Steve Coll, Head of ANZ Creative Shop at Facebook says, clear brand purpose has a magnetic effect. Purpose makes people actively choose the brands they want to follow and hear from every day. That’s why the Tambuli Awards is important and why I am honoured to be part of this year’s judging.”

Jury member Dorothy Dee-Ching, Unilever Philippines, Vice President for Beauty & Personal Care shares that “today, more than ever, brands have the responsibility to use their platform for good, not just in what they say but more importantly, in what they do. Recognizing brands that have made a positive impact to people, society or planet encourages more brands and marketeers to become forces for good, especially now when the world needs it most.”

Tay Guan Hin, Chief Creative Officer of BBDO Singapore and Founder of TGH Collective also comments, ‘since 2005 the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards have been championing brands that use creativity to deliver their brand purpose. I’m humbled to be a judge again this year to see how purpose-led brands have evolved in today’s challenging climate.”

Ajay Vikram, Chief Creative Officer for global clients of Publicis affirms, “if ever there was a time to focus on the significance of Humanity & Culture, surely it is now. Coming off the back of 2020 and with a still-evolving sense of the days to come, we have seen every aspect of our humanity poked and provoked, challenged and changed. Yet, what has emerged are stories of hope, courage and an unbowed spirit in the face of grave difficulty. If there is a cause for celebration, it is this.”

Hira Mohibullah, Executive Creative Director, BBDO Pakistan believes that “amidst last year’s chaos, people started looking inwards for greater purpose, and consequently, so did all the brands. While 2020 marked a huge narrative shift for the world, 2021 is the year we get to decide what part of that narrative to keep. Which is why throwing the spotlight on brands with powerful purpose that contributed most effectively to that narrative is important.”

The pioneer award show globally that honors creative and effective brands with purpose, the APAC Tambuli Awards celebrates brands that show the seamless integration of creativity + purpose + results. Case study entries must demonstrate how brands uplift society, create positive change, and correlate purpose with purchase. Deadline for submission of entries is on April 5, 2021.
