GLOBAL – Oreo isn’t exactly the most Christmassy treat, but a catchy new ad for the cookie brand might just bring it closer to the holidays.

Created for Oreo by the Martin Agency, the ad is centered on Oreo Cookie Balls–basically, crushed Oreo cookies rolled in cream cheese and dipped in chocolate.

Unravelling in quirky animation to an infectious rap by artist Jinx, the ad shows how the cookie balls can transform into token Christmas characters like reindeer, snowmen, and penguins.

By the end of it, the rap shows how the cookie balls can be served at Christmas parties, and even as a treat for Santa himself, making the beloved cookie as much a part of Christmas tradition as any ordinary Christmas ball.
