THE PHILIPPINES, MARCH 7, 2012: The new officers of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), the industry association of broadcast media in the Philippines, were inducted on February 22 in Malacanang. President Benigno S. Aquino III led the induction of officers.
The inductees were led by KBP board chairman Herman Z. Basbano, vice-chairman Butch S. Canoy, and president Ruperto S. Nicdao Jr. Also inducted were KBP Trustees Erwin Galang, Philip Rama, and Cookie Bartolome; KBP secretary Joselito G. Yabut, vice-president for Television Atom Henares, and executive vice-president Francis L. Cardona.
KBP is composed of owners and operators of radio and television stations and the radio and televisions themselves.
