THE PHILIPPINES, MAY 11, 2012: Flavor solutions manufacturer McCormick lets you uncover an array of herbs and spices and apply them to your favorite dishes through a digital app.
Launched May 10, 2012 and developed by full-service digital agency Dual Action Blender, the McCormick Flavor HQ Facebook and mobile app takes you to a unique collection of recipes which unlock the flavors of McCormick’s herbs and spices.
Its intent is to educate consumers about herbs and spices – and how easily they add flavor to almost any dish.
The Facebook application (apps.facebook.com/flavorhq) lets users bookmark their favorite recipes, edit them (adding their own twist to them), share them and submit their own.
The mobile site (mobile.mccormick.com.ph) fulfills a slightly different purpose by allowing food enthusiasts to refer to those recipes while browsing through the herbs and spices aisle at the grocery store.
Access to the site and app can also be facilitated through QR codes on point-of sale materials which consumers will be able to scan using any smart phone.
