THE PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 7, 2012 – Another variant has been added to the world-renowned ‘It’s More Fun in the Philippines’ campaign – “Land Rovering. More Fun in the Philippines”. Launched by Land Rover Philippines (LRPhils Motors Inc.) together with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), this is the first campaign that sees the tie up of the automotive brand and DOT.
“We are very excited about this project with DOT and TPB which will run until 2013 and hopefully will include an international campaign as well,” said LRPhils Motors executive director Marc Soong.
At the launch of the campaign in Opus Restaurant and Lounge at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City, a Land Rover Defender sporting the body sticker with the campaign slogan “Off-roading. More Fun in the Philippines”.
Asec. Domingo Ramon C. Enerio, representing the DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez, Jr., was on hand during the launch of the Land Rover-DOT campaign tie up.
“DOT is proud to have found support from a distinguished world-class brand like Land Rover in our campaign to promote Philippine tourism,” said Enerio.
LRPhils also launched the first official “Land Rovering. More Fun in the Philippines” video which will be aired starting October 2012.
The video showed the multi-awarded Range Rover Evoque driving through the Paoay sand dunes of Ilocos Norte, while also featuring the giant windmills of the Bangui Wind Mills, and Patapat Bridge.
The video was directed by the COLLECTIVE EGO a collaborative group with creative minds made up of four different individuals with different specialties. Cody Miller, Pedring Lopez, Struan Wallace and Ian King are the men behind the video.
