MANILA – The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) has announced the winners of the 49th Anvil Awards at an awarding ceremony last February 26, at the Solaire Resort and Casino Grand Ballroom.
The Anvil recognizes excellence in public relations. The awards include the Anvil Award of Merit, the Anvil Award of Excellence, the Bronze Anvil Award, and the Grand Anvil Award.
Unilab Foundation took home the Grand Anvil for ‘Unilab Ideas Positive‘, a program that has helped 12 communities nationwide, reducing malnutrition and eliminating diseases and infections. (Photo from Unilab Ideas Positive on Facebook )
The Bronze Anvil was awarded to TV5 and Voyager Innovations for ‘Pinoy Hoops’, an app that allows users to read basketball news, check scores and stats, and chat with other fans while watching basketball games on TV.
Pepsi Cola Products Philippines and Studio 5 Designs also took home the Bronze Anvil for ‘The Pepsi Challenge: A Journey of Remarkable Resilience,’ a coffee table book that chronicles the challenges and triumphs that the brand experienced through 66 years in the country.
