SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — The Australian Olympic Committee has launched their latest ‘Have A Go’ campaign, where they teamed up with production company electriclimefilms and AOC partner, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment.

The campaign will run from Wednesday, June 23, and through the duration of the Games, featured by AOCs media partners JC Decaux, NewsCorp, and Channel 7.

With electriclimefilms director André Rodrigues, ‘Have A Go’ is based on the insight that Aussies punch above their weight in sport and defy the odds. It’s in their DNA. Not everyone’s journey to the Olympics was a path of glory. Some athletes never made their high school teams, some weren’t instant stars in their sport, but they tried harder, they kept turning up and ‘had a go’.

AOC CEO Matt Carroll said: “Encouraging greater activity helps us fight obesity, improve mental health and provide better educational outcomes for our children. Increasing participation and ‘Have A Go’ is about more than growing Olympic sport, it’s about bringing communities together, creating vital connections, and being inclusive, this is something that deserves real celebration.”
