People: GIGIL all set for further expansion with promotions and key hires

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Leading independent ideas agency GIGIL is beefing up its capabilities, with the promotions of Dionie Tanada, Jeano Cruz, JC Aujero, Seph Asentista, Jim Jimenez, Bev Lubid, Micco Balana, and Kim Gow. The agency is also ready for expansion, with the  hiring of key personnel Margie Husmalaga, Zahi Depaling, and Lei Barde.

Dionie Tanada and Jeano Cruz have been named the agency’s first Creative Directors, having thought of some of the agency’s most viral campaigns that have built clients’ businesses.

JC Aujero and Seph Asentista were part of these campaigns, and have been named Senior Art Directors.

On the account side, Jim Jimenez rises to Group Account Director. Bev Lubid and Micco Balana are the agency’s newest Account Directors. Lastly, Kim Gow steps up as Account Supervisor.

GIGIL is also geared up for expansion, reinforcing its Media and PR departments to provide full service to its clients.

Margie Husmalaga joins GIGIL as Media Manager. Husmalaga has a solid track record in Performance Marketing, having helped achieve record-breaking attendance figures for DigiCon for many years.  She hopes to make the same impact for GIGIL’s partner clients.

Zahi Depaling has been designated as GIGIL’s Public Relations Manager. With her wealth of experience in media relations, she will arm the agency with expertise on PR strategic planning, media and influencer management, media training, and risk and crisis mitigation.

Lastly, Lei Barde has joined the agency as Human Resource Manager. Having over 10 years of HR experience, Barde worked in ABS-CBN, SeaOil and Canva Manila, where she developed the company’s award-winning mental health program.
