Continuing its winning streak, DM9 JaymeSyfu’s Smart TXTBKS campaign bagged two Golds at the 2014 ANDY Awards.
DM9 JaymeSyfu’s chief creative officer, Merlee Jayme, announced the news on Twitter during the 50th Annual ANDY Awards show and party in New York on April 24.
The campaign, which turns old SIM cards into condensed textbooks, was awarded in the Mobile and RESET categories. The only Philippine entry on the ANDY shortlist, Smart TXTBKS has already won several local and global awards, including the Philippines’ first Cannes Lion Grand Prix for Mobile.
The campaign is also shortlisted in five categories at the 2014 New York Festivals World’s Best Advertising.
Jayme is also part of this year’s ANDY jury, which is led by David Droga, founder and creative chairman of Droga5.
One of the most sought-after awards in the creative industry, the ANDY’s began as a New York print only show. It has evolved into an international show covering print, radio, television, out-of-home, direct mail, video/cinema, interactive and other media.
This year, the International ANDYs also recognized the people and brands behind the best and most creative work over the past 50 years. The one time only ANDY Bravery Award recipients are:
