SUBIC – Research company Kantar is releasing an advertising expenditure report covering out-of-home media nationwide. The initial report will be available later in the month, the Outdoor Media Advocacy Group (OMAG) revealed at AdSummit Pilipinas in Subic today.
OMAG has thrown its full support behind the Kantar initiative, explaining that it is time advertisers get a better sense of the true state of the OOH industry.
“The coming Kantar report is a truly positive development for OOH in the Philippines, and we are glad to be able to announce this during the AdSummit,”said OMAG President Darmo Castillo, GM of major OOH player HDI.
Kantar Media GM Gabriel Buluran welcomed the support of OMAG: “We’re glad to have the OOH stakeholders behind us – it definitely helps make our job a lot easier.”
The report will initially feature billboards in selected national roads, central business districts, major commercial establishments and transit hubs in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Metro Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos.
