SHANGHAI, CHINA – Publicis Groupe announced today the appointment of Richard Frampton as Managing Director, Strategic Solutions for North Asia. He is based in Shanghai and reports directly to Sapna Nemani, Chief Product & Solutions Officer, Publicis Groupe APAC.
In this newly created role within Publicis Groupe, Richard will focus on connecting data driven strategic solutions to clients marketing objectives across Greater China, Japan and South Korea. He will work as part of the Groupe’s best-in-class product, analytics and technology experts, branded under Edge, to foster brand connections with consumers and culture, so as to accelerate growth momentum for clients to win in the platform world.
Richard has extensive and diverse experience, in the UK, Singapore and China, with more than 6 years in Shanghai. He has worked in roles across media buying, communications planning, strategy and solutions. He joins Publicis Groupe from dentsu, where he was most recently Head of Strategy & Solutions for the Media service line.
With experience across food and beverages, cosmetics, luxury & prestige, retail, tourism, media, automotive, banking and fashion brands, Richard has an unstoppable curiosity about human motivation and the challenges of winning brand growth in the platform world, especially in the dynamic Chinese market.
