SINGAPORE – BBDO Singapore has bagged 5 awards at Marketing Interactive’s Mob-Ex Awards 2021 last night with the Visa vertical videos campaign, ‘9×16’ Stores.
The Mob-ex Awards celebrates the most effective, creative and innovative mobile marketing excellence across South Asia, Southeast Asia and ANZ.
BBDO Singapore entered their vertical storytelling video campaign, Visa’s #WhereYouShopMatters, ‘9X16’ Stores into the competition and out of a total of 6 entries, they took home 2 Gold awards for Banking services and Best campaign pivot, 2 Silver awards for B2B and Best use of video, and 1 Bronze award for Best Covid-19 response.
Vertical Storytelling is a top priority for BBDO’s clients. Smartphones play an important role in the purchasing journey, with consumers relying on their mobile devices more and more in the new normal. To catch customers’ attention in these social distancing times, a brand’s approach must be both creative and relevant. It’s predicted that by 2022, 82% of internet traffic will be online videos, so mobile content must be presented in the right format to reach consumers effectively.
“Our purpose was to help Visa speak to small business owners from Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore to pivot their offline business to go online.” shared Tay Guan Hin, CCO of BBDO Singapore. “We highlighted three different merchants symbolic of the small businesses in the target markets to show their stores inside the mobile screen.
I wish to thank Visa for allowing BBDO to create this innovative mobile campaign.” All this success would not be possible if we didn’t have a close collaboration with our clients.”
This campaign has also won awards at the Cresta Awards, AdStars, Markies Awards, Phnx Awards and Caples Awards and is awaiting results from a number of other creative awards.
