AirAsia Philippines Spokesperson Steve Dailisan said, “We’ve been away for a very long time with some of the best destinations in the country because of the various restrictions imposed due to COVID-19. Now that traveling is almost back to how it used to be pre pandemic, we want our thrill seeking guests to dive in and explore the wonders of the Philippines from its people, culture and places.”
Eight out of 11 AirAsia domestic destinations namely Caticlan (Boracay), Kalibo, Bohol, Cebu, Tacloban, Bacolod, Iloilo and Cagayan De Oro have already scrapped the RT-PCR testing for fully vaccinated individuals.
“As the government continues to inoculate the Philippine population, and with the decline of active COVID-19 cases, it’s only a matter of time before all other destinations open its doors to guests wanting to rediscover the beauty of the islands, and embrace new forms of adventure— something our guests may come across after watching airasia thrills,” added Dailisan.
Hosted by AirAsia Philippines’ First Officer Rod de Lara and Senior Cabin Crew Bien Geronimo, airasia thrills will also feature guest influencers who will be pushed to their limits with different tasks which will endear them even more with Philippine destinations such as Cebu, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos City and Puerto Princesa.
