HONG KONG – Grey Group Hong Kong expanded its account management team with the hires of Katherine Wong as Business Director and Christina Kwok as Group Account Director. Wong will report directly to both Desmond Chan and Keith Ho, Managing Partners of Grey Group Hong Kong, and Kwok reports directly to Chan.

Wong brings with her 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, focusing on beauty & personal care category for the Greater China
market. She has worked on internationally-recognised brands such as Neutrogena, Pantene, Kao, Wella, Pampers, as well as consumer electronic brands such as Samsung.

Prior to Grey, she has worked in numerous international agencies including Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis and DDB. She has a strong track record of developing holistic campaigns to help clients turn around their businesses and bring about sustainable business growth. This has led her to handle blue-chip accounts such as P&G, J&J, L’Oreal and Kraft (across the Greater China market).

Kwok graduated at the Queen’s University, Canada, in Art Conservation. But the world of the advertising industry pulled her and she gave up her original thought of being a book conservator. More than 10 years later, Kwok has served in several top agencies such as BBDO, McCann-Erickson and DDB Group Hong Kong. She has worked as a business partner with local and international clients and has managed countless brands including Watsons, Nestle, Vitasoy, Abbott, San Miguel, Bank of China (Hong Kong), Hang Seng Bank, MasterCard, Huawei, The Venetian, PCCW and Microsoft.

“Katherine and Christina are terrific additions to the team. We are always on the lookout for great talents and their appointments go to show our dedication in getting the best people onboard to provide strategic business thinking on our clients’ brands,” Desmond Chan said.

Keith Ho commented, “Both of them come to us from very different backgrounds and I am sure they will be challenging the team to produce more award-winning work. I look forward to working with them closely.”
