DUBAI, UAE — TUMI, the leading international travel and lifestyle brand, celebrated the launch of the TUMI Alpha Bravo Pop-up at The Dubai Mall with a VIP evening at 99 Sushi Bar Dubai on Feb. 9, 2022. Regional influencers amongst other special guests were spotted enjoying the event hosted by radio personality Kris Fade.
Transcending the boundaries between New York City and Dubai, Victor Sanz, TUMI Creative Director, joined the event via a live hologram in an innovative display of cutting-edge technology. Victor was able to share the creative vision behind the latest Alpha Bravo collection as he chatted with Kris Fade all the way from New York City. Guests also took photos with Victor’s hologram to mark this memorable virtual visit.
“It was an incredible experience to be part of this moment all the way from New York City. Dubai is one of my favorite places to visit and I was so excited to introduce our new Alpha Bravo Collection and the pop-up to our friends and fans in the region. TUMI is in constant forward motion and using this holographic technology was a display of our commitment to innovation.” said Sanz.

For the show-stopping finale, guests were ushered to look towards the Burj Khalifa for an unforgettable reveal. They witnessed a spectacle starting with a pre-recorded drone show and a projection on the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. It showcased dazzling visuals featuring the TUMI Alpha Bravo Life in Forward Motion campaign which starred professional footballer Son Heung-Min, Mclaren F1 driver and gamer Lando Norris and actor and recording artist Anthony Ramos.
DJ Cyril and Arabs Got Talent finalist and percussionist Daneel Sayegh kept the energy up all night with live performances. Open until February 14, the unique experiential pop-up features a design inspired by the concept of a supply crate parachuting into the heart of the Dubai Mall from the skies above.
