ASIA-PACIFIC – Caroline Jung has joined the international team of The Sweet Shop as marketing producer.
Boasting a wealth of experience in media, advertising, festival management and international PR, Jung is the ideal candidate to help The Sweet Shop expand their resence in Asian markets.
“I’ve admired The Sweet Shop for a long time and I feel honored to be working alongside their team now,” Jung said of her decision to join The Sweet Shop. “I am very excited for this opportunity and am looking forward to creating new collaborations for The Sweet Shop and developing their growing presence throughout Asia.”
A graduate of Dong-A University in her hometown of Busan, South Korea, Jung’s first taste of international marketing came during her time at EIQA Ltd. in Dublin. From there, she took her skills back to her hometown where she served the Busan Metropolitan City Government as their publicist, planning and producing both domestic and international campaigns across all branches of media including print, broadcast and social. Her marketing concepts have been instrumental in helping Busan bolster its visibility and establish its current position as a global cultural leader. Jung’s passion and tireless efforts behind the scenes have helped Busan earn the coveted title of “Best City for Communication” across South Korea in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

From 2008 to 2014, Jung also worked as the Publicist and Global Manager for Adstars. During this time she was tasked with the development and management of domestic and international public relation projects, positively impacting both the content and image of the celebrated advertising festival.
