MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Friday last week, June 10, the adobo LIA Not-So-Young Creative Competition held its awards night at The Astbury in Poblacion, Makati. The winner which best responded to the brief “Business Doing Good & Doing Well” was “Pride Policy” for AIA Philippines by Ali Silao, Creative Director/Head of Art at Seven A.D. Manila.

“Pride Policy” reimagines insurance as a product to be inclusive of LGBTQ+ families. “I feel super honored to receive this and thank you for the competition,” Silao said during his acceptance speech.
“The idea came from a place of equality, inclusivity, and I just really wanted to thank adobo magazine for actually coming up with this competition for the older creatives… It was really fun, it was a bit scary kasi it’s not-so-young creatives so the ideas must be amazing,” he added.
As the winner, Silao will be joining the LIA #TheBusinessofCreativity Scholarship Program with advertising legend Sir John Hegarty worth PHP 100,000.
