MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The winners of the APAC Tambuli Awards 2022 were announced at a virtual awards ceremony on the night of June 7. Apart from the usual metals Grand Prix, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, there were also special awards given away.
The Chief Marketing Officer of the Year was awarded to Kristine Go, General Manager for Nutrition Unilever Southeast Asia.
“I stayed because I still have a job that gets me excited to come to work every day and colleagues that are not only driven but have a lot of heart,” shared Go. “As I look back at the journey it’s taken to reach this point, I only see the people who have been with me every step of the way.”
Some of the winning campaigns by Unilever are “Covid 19 – Crisis, not opportunity” by Lowe Lintas Mumbai + MullenLowe Singapore; “Dove Blackout Mirror” by Ogilvy and Mather Philippines; “H is for Handwashing” by Lowe Lintas Mumbai + MullenLowe Singapore; “CREAM SILK ARAW-ARAW” by OLIVER Philippines; “Selecta Happinas” by Enrique – BBDO; “KNORR VIETNAM for Healthier Lunar New Year Meal” by Oliver Vietnam, and; “POND’S Age Miracle #CelebrateYourAge” by Ogilvy and Mather Philippines.
University of Asia and the Pacific President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog said, “We believe that for brand purpose to be truly effective and genuine, its activities and impacts must be deeply rooted in an authentic and effective corporate purpose.”
