KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA — Continuing to accelerate the transformation and exponential growth of the agency with a focus on new business momentum, and building and leading future-ready teams, creative agency Havas Immerse has announced the promotions of some of its key senior and junior talent.
With immediate effect, Liew San Ling has been promoted to General Manager from his role as Business Head for the agency. In his new role, San Ling will focus on client service, strategic thinking, innovation and effectiveness, and commercial growth, and profitability of the agency.
Over 22 years of experience in brand and account management across various client portfolios, San Ling has played a key role in Havas Immerses growth both on the business and awards front.
In addition, Khaleeq Sarfaraz has been elevated to Associate Creative Director. Sarfaraz has over 11 years of experience working across regional and local clients such as Telekom Malaysia, Celcom Xpax, KFC, Durex, Libresse, and MINI. In his elevated role, Sarfaraz will be responsible for managing the creative and copywriting team across Havas’ client portfolio.
Jacqueline Chin takes on the role of Business Unit Director to lead and head the operations of CCube Studio within the premises of Unilever Malaysia’s headquarters, a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Havas Immerse and Unilever in Malaysia. Alvin Pak has been elevated to the position of Senior Art Director whose key responsibilities include providing marketing solutions with campaign conceptualization, art direction, and design for clients across the region.
Alongside them are other promotions within the team. Khoo Cai Lin has been promoted to Senior Account Manager while Nur Amirah has been elevated to Account Manager.
