China – TBWA Worldwide has drafted two of its key talents from Europe to work on the McDonald’s account in Asia.
Franck Besson (right), global brand leader for McDonald’s in TBWA\Paris, will now be based in TBWA\Shanghai as Vice President of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA). He brings over 10 years of global market experience on the McDonald’s brand.
The network has also reassigned Frank Marinus (left), formerly the European Creative Director for McDonald’s at TBWA\Belgium, as Creative Director at the TBWA\Hakuhodo office in Tokyo, Japan where he will lead the McDonald’s creative work in both Japanese and Chinese markets.

Commenting on the two appointments, Joanne Lao, Chief Executive Officer of TBWA\ Greater China said, “These two senior transfers represent an important on-going commitment to support the growth ambitions of the McDonald’s brand in China.”
