MANILA – The secret is out. Xeleb is not a new mobile brand to enter the local market, it’s the first ever mobile games company that is centered on celebrity-branded games–another first for consumer technology company Xurpas, Inc.

“Today took 14 years in the making. When we started back in 2001, even before consumers have gone mobile, we knew that success was inevitable,” shared Raymond Racaza, Chief Operating Officer of Xurpas.

With a promise to own the celebrity games space, Xeleb is co-owned by the country’s biggest stars themselves including Anne Curtis, Isabelle Daza, Kim Atienza and Erwan Heusaff.

The stars worked closely with the developers and programmers in Xurpas in creating these games that truly reflect their personalities. Starting off with #AnneGaling, a Match-3 game designed by Anne Curtis herself. The players can shop for digital clothes and dress Anne however they like.

“We view Anne, Isabelle, Kim, and Erwan as tentpoles properties. We’ll build a constantly growing portfolio of games based on their celebrity brand,” added Raymond.

Known for being sporty, adventurous and outdoorsy, Kim Atienza’s game is all about adventures, aptly named “The Adventures of Kuya Kim”. Model and travel bug Isabelle Daza’s game is all about fashion and exploring the world while chef and cooking show host Erwan Heusaff’s will contain recipes and cooking tips right from “The Fat Kid Inside’s” kitchen.

The #AnneGaling game is now available for download on Google Play while the other three games are set to roll out in the coming months.

Xeleb was launched in a star-studded cocktail event at The Eye, Green Sun on Tuesday after a series of video teasers (with quirky special effects that easily caught the online world’s attention) uploaded across social media networks by Anne Curtis and other celebrities.
