SINGAPORE — Film production house electriclime has collaborated with laptop company Acer to build and produce a cinematic concept and film for the brand’s Swift Edge launch.
Shot in three stunning locations within Sydney and its outskirts, the film helped highlight the laptop’s key features in an uplifting and inspiring piece.
Director Pabz Alexander teamed up once again with DoP Tom Black, with the piece following a trio of young professionals and individuals who seek the perfect work/life balance and show the ability to connect from home or on the go.
Using a combination of drone shots and underwater camerawork, the viewer is engaged throughout and taken on a journey through the protagonists’ eyes.
Meanwhile, the laptop remained center-stage with product mood shots to show the features which will resonate with key markets around the world.
This included highlighting the Acer Swift Edge supporting the work demands of on-the-go professionals, combining performance and durability in a 16-inch lightweight laptop.
Meanwhile, it is a secured-core PC powered by AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 Series processors and delivers sublime visuals on a 4K OLED display.
electriclime Senior Producer Dora Claire David said, “It was an exciting challenge and opportunity to build the concept for the brilliant new Acer product.
“When we get the chance to use stunning locations it really helps bring a film to life and this worked perfectly with the ideas implemented.
“Working with Acer and showcasing their new product was a great experience and to build the concept from scratch really showed off electriclime’s talents from pre-production through to delivery.”
