MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — Integrated communications firm Icon Agency has announced that Simon Hobbs, a Drupal veteran with more than 30 years of experience, is joining the team as Executive Director of Digital.
In this newly created role, Simon will lead Icon’s Digital department with a focus on new business development and optimizing the team’s processes and systems.
Simon brings significant management experience, having previously grown multiple teams across agency and government. His appointment follows two years of significant growth which saw Icon double in size and revenue, and earn 41 award nominations and 22 wins since the start of 2021. Simon previously consulted for the New South Wales government for two years, focussing on the complex content platform that is the nsw.gov.au website.
Icon continues to expand its portfolio of website design, development, and content strategy projects, especially within the government sector.
