MANILA – After the phenomenal #AlDubEBTamangPanahon show held at the Philippine Arena on Saturday, McDonald’s Philippines has released another installment of #AlDubKoTo now featuring the three lolas: Lola Nidora, Lola Tidora and Lola Tinidora.
The new spot which is more than 1:30 long, and almost like a music video is promoting the food chain’s Chicken McSavers. The release of the new ad is testament to McDonald’s Philippines’ promise to continue to listen to the #AlDub nation.
Eat Bulaga’s hit Kalyeserye couple first appeared in a McDonald’s TVC promoting the Chicken Fillet ala King, “Our new product called Chicken Fillet ala King exceeded its target upon launch in our stores and skyrocketed after we aired the #AlDubKoTo TVC. It continues to do very well,” shared Margot Torres, Deputy Managing Director and EVP, McDonald’s Philippines.
When asked if this is going to be a start of a #TVCSerye, Christina Lao, Marketing Director of McDonald’s Philippines gave a vague answer: “Malalaman nating lahat…sa tamang panahon. :)” but considering how things went for Alden and Yaya Dub, looks like this will be worth the wait.
Working with McDonald’s Philippines behind the #AlDubKoTo TVCs and other award-winning campaigns including the McTollbooth is creative agency Leo Burnett Group Manila.
As of this posting, the “Paniwalaan Mo Ko, #AlDubKoTo” TVC has over 176,000 views, more than 20,000 likes and 10,000 shares on Facebook, and over 9,000 views on Youtube within 3 hours after it was posted.
