Dubai Lynx names Emirates NBD as Advertiser of the Year

DUBAI – The Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity has today announced that leading banking group, Emirates NBD, will be honoured as the Advertiser of the Year at the 10th edition of Dubai Lynx.

Terry Savage, Chairman, Lions Festivals, commented that with Emirates NBD being the first bank to be awarded this accolade it was a “defining moment for banking groups and their positioning within the creative landscape.”

Emirates NBD have amassed a Dubai Lynx trophy haul of 15 in only the last three years, with 2015 seeing a significant take home of seven Bronze, three Silver and one Grand Prix, ‘Hey Future Me. . .’, the campaign created by FP7/DXB Dubai for Children’s Savings Plans.

Commenting on the recognition, Vikram Krishna, Head – Group Marketing & Customer Experience, Emirates NBD said, “We are delighted to be the first ever bank to be named Advertiser of the Year. This year marks the 10th annual Dubai Lynx which will see the busiest programme of content to date take place across the three-day Festival. Emirates NBD will be awarded onstage at the Awards Ceremony, the climax of Dubai Lynx and the largest event of its kind in Dubai.
