Singapore – Spotify, the world’s most popular music streaming service, is looking for a head of PR for its operations in Southeast Asia.
To be based in Singapore, candidates are expected to lead the communications for Spotify in the region, which includes its top performing countries like Singapore, Malaysia, The Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The Philippines is a notable success for Spotify after becoming its second fastest-growing market globally second only to Canada just after a year of operations. With 2.5 billion songs streamed and 6.8 million playlists played nationwide since its debut last April 2014, the country is also Spotify’s biggest market in the Asia-Pacific region.

Reporting to Jim Butcher, Spotify’s Director of Communications, APAC, and working within the wider global communications team, the role require 5-10 years relevant experience in consumer, digital media or entertainment PR. Consumer tech PR experience is an advantage.
